In Israel, the switch from Yom Hazikaron to Yom Ha’atzmaut is traditionally marked with a Transition Ceremony. Each year, a family-friendly ceremony is held in the Beth Weizmann Auditorium from 5.30, during which there is a live link-up with the siren in Israel.
Beth Weizmann Jewish Community Centre is alive with fun and excitement at Zionism Victoria’s largest event of the year which hosts over 2500 people. The festivities, food and music is a wonderful celebration of all things Israel.
